great base for weekend strolls near major landmarks

the hotel is just a short walk from the British Library, perfect for taking a break in a peaceful park nearby, and you can also easily stroll over to the vibrant area around Russell Square and enjoy the local eateries and pubs right at your fingertips.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Leigh House Hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, allowing me to check in early. The room was clean and comfortable, offering a well-stocked coffee maker. Breakfast included a great selection of cereals and freshly cooked options.

I stayed at Leigh House for three nights during a corporate offsite and found the location to be ideal—just a short walk from Kings Cross, making it easy to navigate the city. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, providing a ground floor room to assist with my mobility issues. The breakfast offered a delightful selection, including freshly cooked options and various cereals and juices.

the room had this weird, musty smell, majorly disappointing. plus, when I requested an upgrade due to the outrageous noise from the street, I received nothing but a blank stare. also, don’t even get me started on the ancient bathroom with mold and silicone issues. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

Centrally located with easy access to transport, the staff offered remarkable assistance including a room change that reduced stair access, which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast featured traditional fare with fresh options, enhancing the overall experience. However, noise from nearby facilities and thin walls disrupted the peace, and maintenance issues in the bathroom, such as mold, detracted from comfort.

Limited storage space in the room, with a small closet and no drawers available. Shower area lacks adequate drainage, leading to flooding, and the noise from the street and reception can disrupt sleep. Some rooms are placed near communal areas, causing disturbances at night.

the staff at leigh house are super friendly and helpful. i loved being able to drop off my bag before check-in, and they even took it to my room. it’s very close to euston station, and the coffee facilities in my room were well stocked.

the shower door had some mold, which was kinda sketchy. but the staff were super nice and helpful, the bed was comfy, and location's perfect near king's cross. felt like a solid stay overall.
